Google sells 25% of US online ads
Over the last year, Google has doubled its revenues against Yahoo. I’m quite taken aback by these figures, so must Yahoo, previously the leader in Ad/Search services.
This is the kind of performance which was always promised pre-2000. It looks like for a few companies that the promise is true.
The report suggests that Google’s success is partly due to its exceptionally strong brand awareness – new advertisers are more likely to go to Google first.
