There’s an eyebrow-raising trend at AOL UK: a steady flow of high-profile staff leaving. It makes me wonder who’s left, and who’s running the place!

July 2006
Head of agency sales, Miles Lewis joins Yahoo!

October 2006
AOL sells ISP business to Carphone Warehouse.
AOL Europe President and CEO Karen Thompson resigns after 8 months. Carlo d’Asaro Biondo promoted to CEO.

November 2006
Andy Jonesco, promoted to UK Managing Director.

December 2006
Carlo d’Asaro Biondo resigns as CEO of AOL Europe.
Content Business Development Manager, Rob Crossen exits to MSN.

February 2007
Chief Marketing Officer, Tobin Ireland and Communications Director, Jonathan Lambeth depart.
Managing Director, Andy Jonesco resigns to become Head of Digital Strategy at BSkyB.

March 2007
Head of Commercial Development, Phil Guest, leaves to become Managing Director of Habbo UK.
David Wolffe currently interim Managing Director.
